St. Brigid’s Day 2023

Brigid’s Day, also known as Imbolc, is celebrated on 1st February and marks the beginning of spring. She is one of the three national saints of Ireland, and a patroness of many things, including poetry, learning, healing, protection, blacksmithing, livestock and dairy production. Traditionally it involves weaving Brigid’s crosses and many other folk customs.
